Every one a Class of 2027 senior at ACHS can actually win: no income caps we don't meet, no minority-only awards. In date order. Crossed-out rows have passed. Start with the FAFSA on October 1 and the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria in December. Those two do the most work.

Each college's own merit portal. Most schools have a separate honors or scholarship application due at or just after Early Action. Check every school on your list.
Before you apply anywhere
Ask your counselor for a recommendation at least one month before your first deadline. For a November 1 Early Action that means by October 1.
Ask two teachers in person, then request in Naviance.
Early Action usually is the scholarship deadline at that school. Apply early where you can.
Run the Net Price Calculator on every school. NOVA is about $6,000 a year and is a real option.
